UDHAMPUR, May 17: District Development Council Udhampur today invited new Deputy Commissioner Krittika Jyotsna to the Council office and extended best wishes to her.
District Development Council Chairperson, Lal Chand, Vice Chairperson DDC, Udhampur Juhi Manhas Pathania, BDCs and DDCs, welcomed the Deputy Commissioner and discussed in detail a range of issues related to developmental requirements of the District.
Interacting with the DDC Council, the Deputy Commissioner sought cooperation of the District Development Council and other PRIs to take the development profile of the District to new heights. She added that the effective implementation of all developmental schemes was not possible without the active participation of BDCs and DDCs.
The DDC Council members put forth numerous issues and demands. They sought rationalization of teaching staff at District level, meeting shortage of drinking water, repair of hand pumps, improving Mobile network services, meeting shortage of staff in various educational institutions in the District, Establishment of K V school etc besides some other issues related to renewal of contractors' cards, tendering process, re-tendering. |
