Rajesh Gill flags off J&K Specially Abled Cricket team for National Championship

Jammu, May 29 : Rajesh Gill former Ranji Player, Member of Indian Cricketers Association, Apex Council Member of JKCA and mentor of J&K Physically Challenged Cricket Team today flagged off J&K cricket team of specially abled players in the presence of Saleem Ur Rehman and Sanjeev Sharma for their participation in the National Championship at Pune .
During the flag off ceremony, colour uniform and bags were also distributed among the players through Rajesh Gill. While speaking on the occasion Rajesh Gill former Ranji player advised the Captain and Players of the J&K team to play as a cohesive unit , motivate each other during the matches and try to play for the victory . He also guided the players and discussed various aspects of different cricket strategies for displaying great performance in the national level matches. He conveyed his best wishes to the team for the successful performance in the championship. Rajesh Gill also thanked Arjun Choudhary Managing Partmer KC Sports Club for providing all logistic support and guidance for the smooth conduct of the selections trials of the specially abled Cricketers of the UT of J&K.
It needs to mention here that Selected team of Specially abled Cricketers of Jammu & Kashmir will participate in the State Level National Tournament for the Divang Cricketers which is scheduled to be held at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Pune from 1st of June,2022 and five other states national teams of Specially abled Cricketers shall also be participated.
The list of J&K team includes : Mohd. Nadeem (Captain), Jagmohan Singh, Amir Hassan (Vice Captain), Firdous Ahmad, Ayaz Ahmad (Wkt.Keeper),Zahoor Ahmad,Abid Hussain,Nikhil Manhas, Suhail Bhat, Ranjeet Singh, Bhargev Singh, Vivek Sharma, Majid Ahmad Magrey,Yawar Mubarak and Ravi Verma.
