| Garib kalyan sammelan organised by KVK Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 31: KVK Jammu under the aegis of Directorate of Extension SKUAST Jammu organised a mega event Garib kalyan sammellan today in which about 200 farmers participated. Prof. Narinder Raina, National Secretary BJP was the chief guest and BDC Chairman Dalip Kumar was guest of honour. At the outset of programme Dr. Ravneet Kour Scientist Horticulture KVK Jammu welcomed the participants and apprised the audience about the theme of the programme. The programme was organised under the guidelines issued by Govt. of India in which direct live address of Prime Minister of India Narinder Modi ji to the citizens of India was webcasted. On this occasion 11th instalment of PM Kissan Samman Nidhi was also released by Hon'ble Prime Minister. The Prime Minister interacted with the citizens of different states and enquired about the benefits of different schemes launched by Govt. of India. Prime Minister also elaborated the different central schemes launched by Indian Government during his address. Speaking on the occasion at KVK Jammu, the Chief guest deliberated upon the different central schemes launched by Govt. of India for the benefit of farming community and in general also. Dr Prem Kumar SMS Fisheries conducted the proceedings of the programme and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Amitesh Sharma Scientist KVK Jammu. Dr Sheetal Badyal, Dr Raju Gupta, Satbir Singh and Ashish Katoch helped in smooth conduct of the programme. |
