| JKTF holds meeting to discuss burning problems | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 31: A meeting of JKTF was held here under the chairmanship of Darshan Sharma, Secretary to discuss the burning problems being faced by the teaching community. The meeting was attended by all the senior members of the JKTF.
The demands discussed in the meeting included adjustment orders in favour of newly promoted headmasters as most of posts are lying vacant for the last so many months. DPC of all cadre of Education Department especially Teacher to Master and Lab Assistant to Teachers should be held.
The meeting demanded regularization of all cadres of Education Department along with regularisation of contingent paid workers CPWs and they be brought under Minimum wages Act till their regularisation. Benefit of earned leave in favour of Teachers conducting TALASH SURVEY during summer vacation was also demanded. |
