Jindrah (Jammu), June 6: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC), Jindrah concluded three day workshop held from 4th to 6th June’ 2022 on World Environment Day, today in the college premises under the guidance of the Principal, Prof. Rajshree Dhar.
Dr. Deepika Sharma, HOD EVS and Programme Officer, NSS unit of GDC Jindrah supervised the whole event and Dr. Seema compiled the event.
On the concluding day, the NSS volunteers planted hand made out of solid waste bird feeders and bird water pots in the college premises to quench the thirst of the birds in this hot summer.
The volunteers placed these pots and feeders on the branches of different trees present in the college premises. The Principal rewarded the students with best bird feeders and water pots. She also applauded the team and volunteers for successfully organizing the event. |
