While J&K bleeds BJP celebrates 8 years rule: Harsh Dev
Saffron leaders rubbing salt on wounds of people
6/6/2022 11:18:47 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, June 6: Ridiculing the BJP for its fictitional accounts of achievements and holding carnivals to mark the completion of its eight years in power at a time when the party faced the severest confidence crisis, Harsh Dev Singh, Former Minister and senior AAP leader said that its so called “Sushasan” celebrations had only rubbed salt on the wounds of general masses.
While J&K continued to bleed and boil, the BJP chose to hold festivities so as to celebrate its 8 years rule with vague, nauseating speeches and slogans of its leaders which had further antagonized the general masses of the UT, said Harsh.
He said that with raging fires having engulfed almost the entire UT of J&K, the celebrations by the saffron brigade had come as a rude shocker for the common masses including the supporters and allies of BJP.
With Pakistan’s notoriety having assumed alarming proportions and mass killings of soldiers and civilians taking place on day to day basis, the BJP govt had failed to respond appropriately to Pak misadventures despite its rhetorical overtures and glamorous slogans of “ten Pak heads for one Indian head”, said Singh. And rather it was unfortunate that the BJP was downplaying the prevalent crisis in the state by its diversionary tactics and through its absurd, preposterous claims and slogans of “Bajpa 8 years salt Bemisal”.
Accusing the BJP of indulging in self-trace and self adulation, Singh called upon the Modi govt to take care of the country and to accept the challenges to our security and survival as a nation.
Accept the challenge to provide jobs to youth, relief to farmers, justice to under-employed youth, respite to middle classes from rising prices, freedom from corruption and criminalization of society and accountability and transparency in govt functioning besides upholding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the nation, added Harsh. He said that these were the issues that had failed to get the focussed attention of helmsmen despite they constituting the fulcrum of BJP’s election manifesto.
And not only were such significant public issues discarded and jettisoned through diversionary tactics, the PM was slow to even acknowledge the targeted killings in Kashmir communal attention across the nation and which attracted worldwide attention with their international ramifications.
He said that imbecile leadership, mal-governance and lack of accountability had created an unprecedented situation in J&K which could prove disastrous if not appropriately handled forthwith.
He appealed to the people to maintain peace and communal harmony and to give a united fight so as to expose and depose the depraved power hungry rulers.
