All J&K Plus Two Lecturers' Forum holds meeting

JAMMU, June 6: The first offline meeting of newly elected body of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers' Forum held today at DIET Jammu.
The meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of R S Slathia and presidentship of Pardeep Singh Rakwal.
Besides, the members of Central Executive Body, the representatives from other districts like Ramban, Kathua, Udhampur, Samba, Jammu were also present in the meeting.
The Provincial President Pardeep Singh Rakwal welcomed the newly elected body and advised them to work hard to achieve the unaccomplished tasks of the cadre.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by the General Secretary Ghar Singh Saini.
Chief Spokesperson and Seniormost Cadre member Sh.Jyoti Parkash also addressed the gathering.
Dr Ashok Sharma (Vice President), Kamal Lal (Chief Organiser), Khateeb Ahmed (Distt.President Ramban) and Sohan Singh Chib also addressed the gathering.
Subash Chander(District President Reasi) stressed upon the need to consider the cases of displaced lecturers and adjustment of aggrieved lecturers suitably.
Khateeb Ahmed (District President Ramban) stressed upon the need to fill up the vacant posts of Principals.He also laid stress on revising the rates of BOSE Exam Duty.
Sohan Singh Chib was given additional responsibility of District President Jammu as the newly elected District President Jammu is not keeping good health.
Provincial President Rakwal appreciated the good work done by all the district presidents and wished them good luck for future endeavours too.
Various core issues were also discussed including ACP, Non Vocational Status, creation of Vice Principal posts in Higher Secondary schools, reviving of college quota in favour of plus two lecturers,transfer of lecturers appointed under SRO 202, repatriation of Lecturers of Physics and botany posted in leh and kargil as the Lecturers of other subjects have already been repatriated etc.
