Apni Party to organize motorbike rally against drug addiction in Jammu: Abhay Bakaya

JAMMU, June 11: The Youth Wing of Apni Party today decided to constitute ward and block level committees to strengthen at the grass root level. The decision was taken in a meeting which was chaired by State General Secretary, Youth Wing Abhay Bakaya. State Coordinator Youth Wing, Sunny Kant Chib, Provincial President Vipul Bali, Provincial Secretary Shivm Choudhary and others were also present in the meeting. During the meeting, it was decided to strengthen the youth wing at the grass root level and also to take out an anti-drug bike rally on June 16, 2022 following a threadbare discussion. Speaking on the occasion, Abhay Bakaya said that the menace of the drug addiction has led to multiple criminal activities and the situation has become tough for the police to deal with. He said that "The coordination of the public is important with the police to meet the challenge of drug addiction."
Meanwhile, State Coordinator, Youth Wing, Sunny Kant Chib said also laid stress on the control of the drug addiction which has spread in Jammu and its peripheral areas with the involvement of criminals. He said that the police have also not been able to deal with the menace.
The Provincial President Youth Wing, Vipul Bali also spoke on the occasion. Bali said that the time has come when people should come forward, especially youth, to counter the spread of drug addiction. During the meeting, Shivam Choudhary said that the Youth Wing decided to organize a motorbike rally for the awareness among the people against the harmful effect of drug addiction. The meeting was also attended by Provincial Vice President, Joginder, Provincial Secretary, Vishal Jotshi, Provincial Joint Secretary Youth, Anmol Singh, District Senior Vice President, Sandeep Vaid, District Vice President, Cheerjeev, District Secretary, Ankush Dogra, Abinav Gupta, Sumit Bali, Gurpreet Singh, Ram Dyal Sharma and others.
