JAMMU, June 11: Former Legislator and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vikram Randhawa said that Central Government led by Narendra Modi devoted 8 years to Seva, Garib Kalyan and Sushasan (service, good governance, welfare of poor).
While interacting with the people during door-to-door campaign in Bhour Camp Ward Number 1 of Jammu South RS Pura Assembly segment to commemorate successful 8 years of the Modi Government, Randhawa said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working on the theme of 'Sabka Sath Sabka Vikaas' and is committed for the overall development of the areas of Jammu.
He added that that no ward will remain deprived of basic amenities and development of every citizen is BJP's main motto.
The door-to-door campaign is being organised as a part of public outreach programme to aware the masses about the policies and the schemes launched by the Central Government for the welfare of the people, Randhawa said, adding that many projects are in pipeline for Jammu which will change the face of the city.
During the door to door campaign, Former Legislator, who is also Coordinator of "Sewa, Sushashan aur Garib Kalyan Pakhwada" said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working day and night to mitigate the problems of the people and give them respite from miseries which they were facing from the last over seventy years.
Randhawa stated that the central dispensation has provided surplus funds for the development works across the Union Territory and that is the reason behind irresistible development trail going on in Jammu and Kashmir.
"BJP across the country is celebrating thriving 8 years of Modi Government in power from June 1 to June 14 with party cadre carrying out massive public outreach programme to make aware the people about achievements and future plans and policies of the party", Randhawa informed and asked the party cadre to aware the people about the achievements of the Modi Government in the past 8 years.
Prominent who were present on the occasion were Girdhari Lal, Pitambar Sharma, Inder Khajuria, Sansar Chand, Neetu Sharma, Krishan Lal, Vaishali Sharma, Mamta Devi, Jagar Nath, etc.
