| GDC Thannamandi celebrates “World Donor Day” | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 15: NSS unit of GDC Thannamandi in collaboration with Red Ribben Club and Department of zoology organized poster and slogan writing competition on "World Donor Day" under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Donating blood to save someone's life not only is a great task but also helps in keeping the health on right track. Various NSS Volunteers participated in the event by displaying posters and slogans. They highlighted that blood donation is an excellent service to humanity. The judges of the event were Prof. Ajaz Nazir HoD Physics and Dr. Tajinder Singh HoD Botany. Among the participants Javaria Khan of Bsc Sem 2nd bagged 1st position whereas Sipram taj of BA Sem 4th and Sameer Khan of BA Sem 4th clinched 2nd and 3rd position respectively. The programme was conducted under overall supervision of Principal of the college Dr. Nahiem-Un-Nisa. The Programme was organised by Prof. Muhammad Shoket NSS Programme Officer. |
