Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 18: Two-day-long training workshop "Prashikshan Varg", organised by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), commenced at Patnitop hill resort in Udhampur district today.
The training workshop was inaugurated by state vice president BJP J&K, Pawan Khajuria, who was the chief guest in the function, by lightning the traditional lamp in the presence of BJYM state president Arun Prabhat, BJYM national media in-charge Amandeep Singh and hundreds of BJYM activists and party workers.
In his address, Khajuria extended warm wishes to all the participants and laid emphasis on the importance of such training workshops to understand the core ideology and principles of the party.
He said that the BJP has come a long way due to the tireless hard work and commitment of the party workers. "The party's journey started by winning two Lok Sabha seats, and 30 years later, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP came to power in the Centre with a full majority in 2014," the senior BJP leader said.
"Today, the party has become the world's largest party. Over the years, the party has maintained its core ideology of Nation first, Party second and Self last to serve the people selflessly," Khajuria said.
During the training programme, a number of speakers would enlighten the participants about the party's core ideology and give them a brief about the organizational structure and history of the party. They will also hold discussions on various topics including abrogation of Section 370, unprecedented development being undertaken in J&K etc.
"The training sessions will help the participants to study the history of the party and in future they will be able to easily share such information with the public during their public speeches and interactions. This will also help party workers and activists, who are unaware of the party's history, to learn more about it," Arun Prabhat said in his address.
He asked the BJYM activists to enthusiastically participate in the programmes to mark the eight years of the Modi government. "Our focus should be on service, good governance, and welfare of the poor. We need to highlight and publicise the people-friendly central welfare schemes so that citizens could reap their benefits," Prabhat said.
On the inaugural day, the party's chief spokesperson Sunil Sethi dwelled on the topic "Transforming Jammu Kashmir Post-August 5, 2019" and highlighted the various achievements made by the BJP-led government at the Centre, headed by Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi while carrying out unprecedented development in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
