One day Workshop on "National Education Policy-2020" at Govt Polytechnic Jammu

JAMMU, June 18: A one day workshop on "National Education Policy-2020 AICTE outcome Diploma books and Scholarship Scheme" was organized at Government Polytechnic Jammu in which Dr. Amit Kumar Srivastava, Director, Faculty Development Cell AICTE New Delhi and Sh. Sudershan Kumar, Director Skill Development Department, J&K graced the occasion. The Principals of other Government Polytechnics of Jammu Division, Officials of Skill Development Department, J&K, Head of departments, faculty, staff members and students of Government Polytechnics of Jammu division were also present. Er. Ritu Jamwal Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and other dignatories who participated in the Workshop. Sh. Tariq Amin HOD Travel and Tourism briefed to all the participants about National Education Policy-2020. Dr. Amit Kumar Srivastava, Director, Faculty Development Cell AICTE New Delhi addressed all the participants and briefed about various scholarship schemes of AICTE, New Delhi. Sudershan Kumar, Director Skill Development Department, J&K congratulated Er. Ritu Jamwal, Principal Government Polytechnic to take initiatives regarding upgrading of skills of students as per today's requirement to make them industry ready people. Third Edition of Newsletter was also released in presence of all the diganatories. Copies of diploma books were distributed among the meritorious students of all the Government Polytechnics of Jammu division by the Director, Faculty Development Cell AICTE New Delhi. Vote of thanks was presented by Sh. Dhiraj Kumar, Lecturer T&T.
