Pak testing India’s patience
6/26/2022 11:01:18 PM
Army recently stated that 150 terrorists are waiting at launch pads in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and nearly 500 to 700 more are undergoing training at eleven terror camps there.
Figures shared by the Army reveal that Pakistan is in no mood to relent. It wants to keep the pot boiling. Training terrorists and keeping them ready to infiltrate is an indication that the mindset of Pakistani rulers has not changed and they want the violence to continue in J&K.
Despite facing a challenging situation, the Army has been able to keep the situation under control. The ultras sent by Pakistan are being chased and eliminated. The robust counter infiltration grid along the Line of Control (LoC) is not allowing terrorists to infiltrate into this side as the soldiers deployed along the LoC are vigilant and well equipped to tackle threats.
The security forces have been successfully thwarting infiltration attempts by the terrorists along the LoC in Kashmir.
Despite making desperate attempts terrorists have not been able to cross over. Even if they succeed in crossing the LoC they are not allowed to reach the mainland and are taken care off in the hinterland itself.
According to the Army till May end, everything has been taken care of. There was a particular group which had come. It got eliminated in Bandipora and Sopore. Now, the terrorists are now focusing on other infiltration routes other than those that have been identified.
The Defence Ministry has been focusing on securing the borders to ensure zero infiltration. Fences along the borders have been made stronger. The soldiers have been equipped with the latest weapons and surveillance technology. Crossing the LoC is no more a cakewalk for the terrorists. Due to the pressure being mounted on terrorists they are now trying the Rajouri-Poonch routes, the areas of the south of Pir Panjal. The infiltration in Kashmir has gone down compared to other routes. There are even reports that some infiltrators are trickling via Nepal.
At present terrorist numbers are lowest as compared to the past few years and Pakistan is trying to increase these numbers by keeping the launch pads full and keeping the terrorists ready to infiltrate. Pakistan is refusing to mend its ways and if it carries on with its activities that day is not far when it would get a befitting reply as Indian Army is capable of crossing the LoC and destroying the terror training camps.
