Councillor Gurmeet Randhawa kick start macadamization at Sainik Colony

Jammu, June 26: BJP leader and councillor of Ward 69 of Sainik Colony, Gurmeet Kour Randhawa kick started the black topping of road in Sector B of Sainik Colony. This work will be completed at an approximate cost of Rs twenty lakhs and forty thousand. Continuing her endeavour to fulfil long pending demand of the residents of Sainik Colony, Councillor Gurmeet Kour Randhawa highlighted that blacktopping has been done on most of the roads during the last three years. In the month of March this year, black topping worth approximately 60 lakhs in Sector A and C of this ward was completed. Efforts are also on to widen narrow roads and streets in due course.
Councillor Gurmeet Randhawa said that the administration under Prime Minister Modi is fully sensitive towards the issue of the people and is taking comprehensive measures to provide basic amenities including roads, power and water to the people. Be stand by the BJP motto of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.’
The councillor urged upon the residents to avoid use of polythene bags, single use plastic and stop throwing garbage and debris in Nallah. She stressed that residents should segregate wet and dry garbage at their own level and hand it over to garbage collection auto-rickshaws.
Ward president Alkesh Sharma, Randhir Singh, Devender Singh, Sheetal Devi, Shivang Singh, Sunita Choudhary, Santosh, Asha Rani, Harpal Singh, Joginder Sharma, Hari Saran, Sanjogita and other prominent BJP workers present on the occasion thanked and appreciated the work of Corporator Gurmeet Kour Randhawa.
