JAMMU, July 2: Today while addressing the Press Conference S Ranjeet Singh newly elected DGPC President, along with other office bearer S Balvinder Singh Vice President, S Surjeet Singh Secretary, S Ranvir Singh Joint Secretary, S Jagpal Singh Treasurer, S Gurmeet Singh & S Harjeet Singh Incharge Dharam Parchar Committee DGPC, expressed his deep gratitude and thanks to the entire Sikh Sangat of Jammu District for their overwhelming support in electing new members by disposing faith in them and giving them an opportunity to serve the Sikh community by managing the Gurdwara affairs in a very transparent manner and as per the aspirations of the Sikh Sangat within the ambit of J&K Sikh Gurudwara and Religious Endowment Act.
While addressing the Press conference S Balvinder Singh Vice President and S Surjeet Singh Secretary assured the Sikh Sanghat that they will put all best possible efforts to live up to the expectations of Sikh Sangat of Jammu.
Further the media was briefed about coming Gurupurab celebration to be held on 5th July in connection with the birth anniversary of 6th Guru Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib at Gurudwara Tahli sahib Jammu. This Gurupurab celebration will be celebrated from 10AM to 3 PM.
Besides local Ragi Jathas of Bhai Davinder Singh ji and Bhai Rattan Singh ji Both Hazuri Ragi Jathaas of DGPC Jammu, other prominent Ragi Jathas and Tadi Jathas participating from outside the state are Bhai Davinder Singh Ji Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib, Bhai Nachattar Singh ji Parcharak Gurmat Gyan Missionary College, Ludhiana & Tadi Jatha of Bhai Gurpreet Singh ji.
Some prominent persons who were present in the press conference are S Rajinder Singh Sudan, S Janak Singh, S Manjit Singh, S Sharanjit Singh, S Surinder Singh Wazir, S HJasbir Singh, S Makhan Singh, S Kulvinder Singh, S Parfulat Singh etc
