BJP Jammu district holds 1-day Mandals Working Committee meetings

JAMMU, July 4: July, 04: BJP Jammu district conducted its 1-day Working Committee meetings (Karyekarni) of Gandhi Nagar, Satwari and Jammu East Mandals respectively under the chairmanship of its president, Vinay Gupta here at different locations in Jammu. The senior BJP leaders namely former MLA and Ex BJP State President Ashok Khajuria, Deputy Mayor Purnima Sharma, Sr.Varinderjit Singh and Aseem Gupta State Vice Presidents, former MLC Vikram Randhawa, Councillor and Ex President BJP Jammu District Baldev Singh Billowaria besides Mandals Prabharis Kuldeep Kandhari, Ankush Gupta, Narinder Gupta Koki and District General Secretary Naresh Sharma attended the meeting. Moreover, Neeraj Puri, Praveen Kerni and Bharat Bhushan organised the working committee meetings in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu East and Satwari Mandal respectively.
Vinay also admired the work of mandals office bearers comprising BJP cadres for performing an extravaganza in remembrance of the colossal personality Founder-President of Bharatiya Jan Sangh, Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee as a Pakhwada festival in Jammu District.
In his presidential address, Vinay Gupta clarified that BJP has been organizing Working Committee meetings at the Mandals level in the past and recently it has started holding such meetings at the Booth levels also. Like wise, Various sessions were held in these meetings which included "History and Growth of BJP over the years, vision and ideology of BJP and landmarks in the past decades, future challenges and election strategies". Vinay explained the main motto of karyekarni of Mandals is held periodically to review the ongoing progress and party works and to have direct interaction with ground-level party workers. While addressing the party leaders and activists, Vinay Gupta said that for the effective functioning of the party and to maintain its cadre-based structure these periodic meetings are held from the very Central level to the very basic level of the organization. He said that after the National, State and District level, the Mandal level Working Committees are organized so that every pubic-related issue of the activists including messages from the top leadership of the organization can be transmitted to the target. He acknowledged focus on strengthening booths by forming effective booth committees while concentrating on every single booth keeping focus on each vote. Vinay Gupta stressed the importance of the role of BJP grass-root level cadres. He focussed on the BJP's ideology, the party's five principles and history. He said that BJP is an ideology-based party which strives to serve the nation and society.
Similarly, addressing the BJP cadres in his interaction with party office-bearers in working committee meetings , Vinay reportedly asked karykarts to make door-to- door visits a practice to propagate the initiatives taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He wanted 'karyakartas' to be active in their wards, booths and constantly interact with voters, the leader said.
The meeting was attended by Councillors, Mandal's office-bearers, Mandal Presidents and General Secretaries including Mandals Executive members. The stage was conducted by Mandals General Secretaries.
