RAJOURI, July 5: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for the forthcoming auspicious occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha.
Officers who attended the meeting included SSP, Mohd Aslam; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; DSHO, Dr Sarfraz Naseem Chowdhary; CMO, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar; AC FS, Ajeet Singh; AD FCS&CA, Arief Lone; ExEn Jal Shakti Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed; ExEn PDD Rajouri, Hasan Mohd and other concerned officers.
President MC Rajouri, Mohd Arief; President Beopar Mandal, Rajesh Gupta; Mohd Farooq; Shafqat Mir; Tazeem Dar were also present in the meeting.
A discussion on various points including uninterrupted water and power supply, medicare facilities, parking facilities, transport etc was held threadbare in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, the DDC stressed upon the officers to provide all requisite facilities to the public like drinking water, sanitation, medicare, transport, uninterrupted power and water supply and other necessary arrangements in this regard.
The PDD and Jal Shakti Departments were directed to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply to the general public during the festive days.
The Police authorities were directed to deploy adequate police personnel on the holy day for the security of the public. The Traffic authorities were directed to prepare well thought-out traffic management and parking plans in order to ensure hassle-free to-and-fro movement of vehicles on the scheduled day
