| Lady drug peddler arrested, heroin like substance recovered | | |

SAMBA, July 5: Continuing its drive against the menace of drugs, District Police Samba has arrested a lady drug peddler and recovered about 2.3 gms of Heroin (Chitta) like substance from her possession in the jurisdiction of P/S Ramgarh. Acting on an information received from reliable source, a Police Party of P/S Ramgarh headed by SHO PS Ramgarh, Inspr. Asha Nand under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Ms. Priyanka Kumari apprehended a lady from Village Radwan, Ramgarh and recovered approximately 2.3 gms of Heroin (Chitta) like substance from her possession. The accused lady has been arrested and contraband item has also been seized. A case FIR No. 52/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Ramgarh and investigation started. |
