| Poonch Police arrests one thief, another still absconding | | |

POONCH, July 6: Poonch police under the supervision of SSP Poonch Rohit Baskotra apprehended one thief in ward number 3 of Poonch.
Sources said a theft case was registered at police station Poonch in which it was throw lighted that some thieves stole cash and jewellery from the house of one Sunjay Kumar resident of ward number 3.
The in-charge SHO police station Poonch inspector Rajit Raoo on very first day of his joining traced the thieves and made arrest of one of the two.
The apprehended thief was identified as Kouser Khan resident of ward number 3, whereas his other partner namely Mukhtar Ahmed @ mukhi is still abscond.
His proceeding was conducted with the help of PSI Angral. Sunjay Kumar, appreciated the achievements of police especially, inspector Raoo who traced these thieve within a day of his joining. Police sources informed Early Times that these thieve are booked in various theft of drugs cases and have been punished many times.
Sunjay Kumar while speaking with early times said that the family members of the thief have approached him and appealed him to forgive them, but he refused by saying police and law will take its course. |
