Harsh bats for COE to probe BJP links with LeT commander, others

Early Times Report
RAMNAGAR, July 6: "As the appointment letter of LET Commander Talib Hussain as BJP's IT Cell President and his photographs with top leadership of the party have gone viral on social-media and elsewhere, the saffron brigade owes an explanation to the people of the country and J&K for its links with anti-national elements and forces inimical to the interests of the nation. The fact that Pak sponsored terrorist was an office-bearer of BJP and had access to the top leadership of BJP in J&K as well as New Delhi has created ripples across the political landscape of the country and can't be dismissed lightly. It needs a thorough probe through an Independent Commission of Enquiry (COE) headed by a Judge of the Supreme Court". This was stated by Harsh Dev Singh, Former Minister and senior AAP leader. He was addressing public meetings in Rang and Draran villages of Ramnagar constituency today.
"It defies logic that the entire intelligence machinery of J&K and the Home Ministry's secret services could not recognize the LET Commander who was apprehended and caught by innocent villagers having hardly any idea of the terrorists being sponsored from across the border. The LET Commander had attended several BJP meetings with the State President, Member Parliament Jammu besides having held meetings with the Union Home Minister as was being reported in media with photographs of the said Rajouri blast accused with several other BJP leaders being widely circulated all over. How's it that a deadly terrorist owing allegiance to the Pak based terror organization had managed his access to the corridors of power and entered North Block where even the Ministers and MLAs have restricted entry. Is it an intelligence failure or wilful act of BJP leadership to use terrorists for promotion of their political interests, said Singh raising a valley of questions over the unfettered entry of a top terrorist in BJP and state institutions.
