Sikh organizations pay tributes to victims of cloudburst

JAMMU, July 10: An emergency meeting of various prominent Sikh leaders and Organizations J&K all members with one voice under the Chairmanship of S. Mohinder Singh Chief Organizer Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa society J&K and Ex-member DGPC Jammu, In the meeting two minutes silence is observed to pay tribute to the pilgrims died due to the cloud burst near the cave of Baba Barfani at Amarnath. Those present in the meeting prayed for the eternal peace to the departed souls and courage to the family members to bear the irreparable loss. They also prayed for the safety and safeguard of the missing pilgrims. The speakers appealed the Prime Minister of India Narinder Modi, Home minister Amit Shah and Lt. Governor Shri Manoj Sinha Ji to announce 25 lakh ex-gratia to the next kins of the deceased and a job to one member of the family.
An appeal is also made the management committees of Sikh Gurdwaras situated at the routes of Amarnath yatra to accommodate at provide help to the needy as per tradition taught by our Guru Sahibans.
