| Chadha demands inquiry into tragic cloudburst incident at cave shrine | | |

JAMMU, July 10: RK Chadha founder member and former state Treasurer of PDP expressed grief and shock over the tragic death of pilgrims due to a cloud burst near the Holy Shree Amarnath ji cave. PDP demanded an order by the LG Manoj Sinha for an inquiry to ascertain how tents and community kitchens were set up in a highly vulnerable area close to Amarnath Cave Shrine the area known for big avalanche and other heavy snow fall possibilities. This is the first time Tents and Kitchens of Langars which are fixed at far away places at already selected sites , this time are fixed very near to the Shrine,. Since Big Religious organisations with heavy contributions of funds from religious people must have influenced the organisers to provide a space near the Amarnath Cave Shrine resulting in the death of innocent pilgrims. PDP demanded a fair compensation for the victims of all categories. |
