| GDC RS Pura organises Essay Writing Competition | | |  Early Times Report
RS Pura, July 14: Department of English, Govt. Degree College, R.S. Pura organized Essay Writing Competition under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The event was conducted under the worthy patronage of the Principal, Prof. Sunil Uppal and supervision of Dr. Neena Gupta Rohmetra, Head Department of English. Students from all semesters participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. This competition provided an opportunity to the students to demonstrate their reading, thinking and writing skills in a well-connected and compact manner. Amandeep of Semester-II & Dheeraj Singh of Semester-IV bagged 1st position, Jhanvi Randhawa of semester-II bagged II position and Harshish Kour of Semester-II bagged 3rd position. Prof. Shifali Abrol and Prof. Vijay Kumari were the judges in this event.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Kiran Pathania, Assistant Professor in Department of English. Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and encouraged the students to participate in more such activities in future. |
