Jammu, July 14: The J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) declared the result of Secondary School Examination (Class 10th), Session Annual, Regular, 2022 Summer Zone of Jammu Division today after the successful conduct of examination and evaluation processes which completes the examination process of 10th class 2022.
The JKBOSE had given a concession of 30 percent in the syllabi to the students who had to attempt only 70 percent marks from the question paper which was treated as 100 percent for result computation as per Notification no F (Acad-C)relax/Syllabi/X/XI/XII/21 dated 13-08-2021 followed by notification no. F (Acad-C)relax/Syllabi/X/XI/ XII/21 dated:- 27-08-2021.
53,628 candidates had appeared in the said examination out of which 43,123 have been declared qualified constituting 80.41 percent of the total examinees. Out of total examinees, 30,011 were Boys and 23,617 were girls. Girls have excelled again by scoring a pass percentage of 83.65 percent against 78.01 pass percent of boys.
5,104 students scored A1 grade, 8,727 students got A2 grade, 10,067 were awarded B1 grade, 10,563 candidates scored B2 grade whereas 7,365 students got C1 grade, 1,288 students scored C2 grade and nine students scored D grade.
Chairman JKBOSE has expressed his satisfaction over the entire examination process. “It is heartening to know that 80.41percent students have qualified this exam various challenges posed by COVID-19; girls have again outshined boys. I acknowledge the contribution of entire divisional and district level administrative machinery, whole team of the officers and officials of JKBOSE Jammu Division and teachers who have tirelessly contributed for the flawless conduct of examination followed by cooperation in evaluation. Those students who could not make it this time should try again with revised strategies,” he said.
Secretary JKBOSE also congratulated the successful students and appreciated the cooperation of all the stakeholders for successful completion of this examination process with the declaration of result. In order to facilitate the access of students to the result gazette, the JKBOSE has made adequate arrangements through various media.
