DC Doda directs for complete switch over to online mode

DODA, July 14: Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of the functionaries of the revenue department here in the conference hall of DC office complex to review the progress on key indicators besides overall functioning of the department.
Threadbare discussion was held with regard to online services, Digitisation of Jamabandies, removal of encroachment, disposal of revenue court cases, progress of SVAMITVA, issuance of digital passbooks, survey of Gair Mumkin khads, and other revenue matters.
In addition to this, a formal draft of polling stations was also discussed in detail with revenue officials at the daylong meeting.
While discussing the online services, the DC strictly directed the department to ensure that all the revenue services are delivered through online mode. Besides, he asked Banks and CSC coordinators to share the list of Khidmat centres and CSC centres along with their locations, operator, mobile numbers by today evening to share the same with the general public to facilitate people in getting the revenue services online in addition to other services which are being provided through these centres.
With regard to digitisation of Jamabandies, the DC directed revenue authorities to increase the manpower as well as working hours to complete the task. He further asked the SDMs to utilize the computer labs of the ITI and Polytechnic institutions to pace up the progress and to meet the timeline.
While assessing the progress of the survey of Gair mumkin khads, the DC asked the Tehsildars to ensure timely completion of the pending survey. Further he asked to ensure timely and quality disposal of all the online revenue cases and ensure that no revenue court cases were taken up offline.
During the course of the meeting, the DC also shared the draft document of the polling station with all the Tehsildars and asked them to give it wide publicity in their respective areas. He further asked them to submit error free data with regard to the key components of all the polling stations including AMFs located in their respective areas.
The DC, while underlining the importance of the components, said that the same was being monitored by the HLG administration on a daily basis and was among the top priorities of the UT Govt. He impressed them to take these directions seriously and complete all the targets by or before the fixed timeline.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, ACR Doda, Dy DEO Doda, SDMs, All Tehsildars, and other concerned staff members.
