Sunrise Educational gives free education to the students of underprivileged classes

JAMMU, July 15: Sunrise Educational Trust (an institute of Education) which gives free education to the students of underprivileged classes. It also carries out cultural activities and special camps from time to time. One of it's regular activities is conducting of summer camp during the vacation. Accordingly a summer camp was organised in the school premises for 30 days. The camp included activities like dancing, painting, music, fancy dress competition, writing competition, drawing competition, pottery painting and many more. About 100 students participated in the program. The activities were conducted under the guidance of expert teachers. Students took keen interest in all activities. Students learn yoga and celebrated yoga day also. During the camp an inter school competition was organised by vinay dance group was held at polytechnic college Jammu. Students from various schools like International Daily Rising school, Drs, M.V international school and many schools participated in the competition. A team of students from Sunrise Public school also participated in it. In the group dance item the group of the school got first prize. The concluded program was organised on 11 July various competitions were organised in the school in which prizes were awarded to the students standing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the competition. Refreshments were also served to the participants during the camp. There were birthday celebrations also. Students cut the cake and enjoyed the camp thoroughly. Some parents of the students gave their impression about the summer camp which was organised by the school. They were of the view that such camps should be organised frequently during the year because the students learn a lot by taking part in the activities and encourages activity based education. Mr Rajesh Sharma the founder administrator and Mrs. Manpreet Kaur the principal of the school addressed the students and parents and explained them the significance of such camps which develop to explore and develop the hidden talents of the students.
