| Er Sachin Tickoo, elected president JKEEGA | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduates Association [JKEEGA] in pursuance to the Election notification no-JKEEGA/Elections/2022-24/01 Dated 23/06/2022 and elections held on 16.7.2022, Er. Sachin Tickoo has been duly elected as the President of the association for the term 2022-24.In a keenly contested election two contestants namely Harvinder Singh and Sachin Tickoo participated and from among an electorate comprising of 604 votes, 549 votes were polled , registering a poll percentage of 91%. A total of 335 votes were bagged by Sachin Tickoo and 207 votes were polled in favour of Harvinder Singh and 07 votes were declared invalid. Er.Sachin Tickoo was declared as winner and President of JKEEGA for the term 2022-24 vide notification no JKEEGA/JMU/2020-22/312 Dated 17/07/2022.
The JKEEGA election commission expressed Gratitude to the members for their massive participation in the electoral process. Er. Sachin Tickoo in his victory address expressed his commitment and zeal towards working whole heartedly for the Graduate Engineering Fraternity. |
