Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 18: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken India to new heights of progress and prosperity by toeing the footsteps of Saints and Seers, who were dominant in the sub continent during ancient times.
The BJP stalwart leader said that the treasure of Sanatan Dharam's philosophy needs to be assessed and implemented to make India Vishwa Guru in real terms as Vedas and Puranas possess immense knowledge and practicable theories to win the world.
He was speaking after paying obeisance at the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Temple at Nashik on the first Monday of auspicious Shravan Maas. The Temple Management of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling felicitated Kavinder Gupta and the Trustee of the temple Santosh Kadam gave an idol of Trimbakeshwar Bhagwan. During his visit, the senior BJP functionary also met Sadhu Samaj and had a meaningful dialogue.
Kavinder said that to make India prosperous and progress, it is imperative that every countrymen should follow the path shown by the great Sadhus and Sants, as this is the key for making India's entry into the pool of countries which consider themselves as super powers. He maintained that Indian leadership in the past had lost the path and started following western world's trends leading to snarl in the development process as earlier India was known as 'Sone Ki Chidiya'. He said that PM Modi through his dint of hard work is doing his best to once again make the country one of the richest in the world and for this, the country's premier needs people's overwhelming support.
The senior BJP leader criticized the section of opposition which is always finding faults in the working of BJP Government. He said by decrying every move of the government for the sake of opposition, these parties and leaders are creating hurdles in the development process which are uncalled for and intolerable.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that the need of the time is that the opposition should pave the way for the government to take full throttle initiatives to steer the country to pinnacle of development as this is the sole dream of PM Modi and the government which he is running.
