JAMMU, July 22: Today BJP Jammu District President Vinay Gupta along with BJP supporters distributed sweets in "Adivasi Basti" in belicharana Jammu among the people. Vinay along with BJP workers distributed sweets by raising slogans in favour of President-elect Draupadi Murmu in the Jammu district. Vinay said for a woman from tribal background to reach the post of President is a "golden moment" for the country and expressed confidence that her competence and experience in administrative and social works will benefit the country immensely. The victory of Murmu is a living picture of immense public confidence in the all-inclusive and all-touching nature of 'New India' and the spirit of 'Ek Bharat-Shresh tha Bharat'," Vinay added. Vinay Gupta expressed hope that Murmu would discharge the constitutional obligation of strengthening India's democracy with full responsibility. "The BJP district president Jammu has conveyed his congratulations and best wishes to Murmu on being elected as the President of India,". Vinay said a "tribal woman from a small village in Odisha reached the Rashtrapati Bhavan today and this is the beauty of India's democracy". He told reporters that the election of Murmu as the President will strengthen women's empowerment. Vinay also congratulated Murmu and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and BJP National President J P Nadda. Later Gupta distribute sweets to the public and said this is the victory of the people of the country. Vinay said the win of Murmu, who has become a symbol of women's education, valour and empowerment, is a unique example of India's vibrant democracy. "Heartfelt congratulations to respected Droupadi Murmu Ji on being elected as the 15th President of the country," he added.
Vinay said, coming from a modest background & becoming President of our country, her story is an inspiration for millions. I am sure she will work hard for the welfare of all sections of society".
Under the umbrella of Vinay Gupta, all three mandals of Jammu District also commemorate Murmu's historical triumph in Jammu East, Satwari and Gandhi Nagar Mandals respectively. Vinay was accompanied by District office bearers & Mandal Presidents Bharat Bushan, Neeraj Lucky Puri and Praveen Kerni along with BJP cadres.
