NC delegation calls on DC Rajouri, discusses issues of flood affected people

RAJOURI, July 22: : A delegation of J&K National Conference led by Th Yashu Vardhan Singh, Additonal Spokesperson National Confernce toady met Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and apprised of the losses being suffered by the people of Kalakote and Sunderbani Constituency.
During the meeting, Th Yashu Vardhan Singh said that Government High School Mithyani and its adjoining residential houses were severely damaged due to the recent incessant rainfall and flash floods. People are facing huge hardships in absence of any assistance from the administration. He said that the recent rainfall and flash floods have mmassively damaged the residential area across the Kalakote and Sunderbani Constituency
Yashu advised the DC Rajouri to make arrangement of about 20 tents so that the affected people would get sigh of relief due to incessant rains.
The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri gave a patient hearing to the depeutation and assured all possible help from the administration.
Later, the delegation also met SSP Rajouri and dicussed about the law and order situation in the district.
Yashu said that there are several anti-national elements in the society who are making deliberate attempt to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere of Rajouri district. He said that there is dire need to foil the nefarious designs of such elements.
Meanwhile, the delegation met Chief Medical Officer Rajouri and apprised him of the problems being faced by the people of Panchayat Salsui.
Yashu apprised the CMO that presently there was no doctor to cater people of Panchayat Salsui resulting in people were facing huge hardships. He said the people suffering from several types of viral and flus so there is dire need of medical officer in the Panchayat.
The CMO Rajouri assured to appoint the doctor on priority so that the people of aforesaid Panchayat may not suffer any more.
Meanwhile, the NC delegation headed by Yashu Vardhan also met Assistant Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Rajouri, and discussed the problems being faced by the ration dealers of Kalakote and Sunderbani Constituency. He also appealed to the AD F,CS&CA to provide ration cards to all the BPL category people of aforesaid constituency at the earliest.
The AD F,CS&CA assured the visiting delegation that the issues putforth would be addressed on priority.
The delegation comprised of Ashok Sharma, District President Rajouri Rural, Bansi Lal Sharma Block President, Ashok Sharma Office Secretary, Vivek Sharma Youth President Kalakote and others.
