SSP Traffic Rural Jammu reviews traffic arrangements for Shri Budha Amar Nath Yatra

JAMMU, July 27: Mohan Lal Kaith, SSP (Traffic) Rural Jammu along with Aftab Hussain Shah, DySP ((Traffic) Rajouri-Poonch visited the Rajouri & Poonch districts respectively to review the traffic arrangements made in connection with Shri Budha Amar Nath Ji Yatra-2022. Traffic arrangements at the haltage points especially Sunderbani, TCP Nowshera, Water Point Ground Rajouri, Akhara Mandir and Mandi Poonch were also reviewed.
The officer met with the organizers of the Yatra at Shree Budha Amar Nath Ji Mandir Poonch. Locals of the area, Swami Ji of Shree Budha Amar Nath Ji temple, Shamim Ganie (BDC Chairman), President Beopar Mandal, Sarpanchs & Panchs of the area and discussed the Yatra arrangements in detail. Directions were given to the traffic officers/officials to ensure hassle free vehicular movement during the Yatra period. The officer also convened a meeting with the general public as well as the organizer of the Yatra, BDC Chairman, Sarpanchs & Panchs at Dak Banglow Sunderbani and discussed about the Yatra arrangements. The general public had stated that all the Yatra arrangements have been put forth in a smooth and peaceful manner. However, they have stated that there is traffic congestion at Hospital road Sunderbani and requested for deployment of additional traffic cops there. The officer verbally ordered that one NGO and three raffic officials at the said road for effective traffic management system. The meeting was attended by BDC Chairman, Arun Sharma, Sarpanchs Puja Devi, Mohan Singh, Roshan Lal Raina, Mohan Singh, Alok Nath, Ashok Kumar, Surjeet Kumar, Panchs Manoj Kumar, Yashpaul, Bodh Raj & Sanju Kumar. Inspector Karan Singh, DTI Sunderbani was also present on the occasion.
