JK reports 703 fresh positive cases, 454581 recovered

SRINAGAR, July 30: The Government today informed that 703 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 209 from Jammu division and 494 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 464062. Also, 02 COVID deaths have been reported from Jammu division.
Moreover, 458 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 212 from Jammu division and 246 from Kashmir division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 464062 positive cases, 4711 are Active Positive (1808 in Jammu Division and 2903 in Kashmir Division), 454581 have recovered and 4770have died; 2341 in Jammu division and 2429 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 26116073 test results available, 464062 samples have tested positive and 25652011 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 15,044 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6696790 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 122persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4711 in isolation and 273 in home surveillance. Besides, 6686914 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 240 cases, Baramulla reported 101 cases, Budgam 42 cases, Pulwama reported no case, Kupwara reported 43 cases, Anantnag reported 32 cases, Bandipora reported 16 cases, Ganderbal reported 06 cases, Kulgam reported 13 cases while as Shopian reported 01 fresh case for today.
Similarly in Jammu division, Jammu reported 109 cases, Udhampur 20, Rajouri 16, Doda 19, Kathua 06, Samba 05, Kishtwar 15, Poonch06, Ramban 11 and Reasi 02.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24x7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075. Further the bulletin also informs the public that for any kind of COVID-19 query, logon to www.covidrelief.jk.gov.in
