Dogra state lost identity, jobs; contracts opened to others : Congress
8/4/2022 11:55:45 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 4: Historical Dogra state lost it's identity today, three years ago, youths lost jobs, business opportunities, local traders and business class suffered loss, militancy not controlled, KPs could not return democracy not restored said Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress , in three years, post august 5,2019 while questioning what has been gained by the people especially the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. People will never forget that three years ago the historical state dogra state of over 175 years was demolished and downgraded to UT, thus humiliating the citizens of J&K, Asserting that J &K suffered on all fronts post 5,2019, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Mr Ravinder Sharma asked BJP to explain the achievements and benefits to the people especially the youth of Jammu and Kashmir in last three years.
The record unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir, lack of job opportunities in govt and private sectors, opening of jobs and lands besides all business opportunities and contracts to outside people, have snatched away the limited jobs, sources from j&K people.
The security scenario is worst in the manner that selective and targeted killings of innocents including minorities have taken place during this period, instead of return of Kashmir migrants those staying or serving in valley were targeted & are insecure. Not only KPs, Jammu employees and others and outsiders because soft targets and all seeking relocation to safer places and repatriation.
The promise of thousands of services in government sector and lot many job opportunities in private sectors are distant dreams while those selected/qualified in recruitments are finding their future bleak due to scams.
The democracy could not restored and people are deprived of democratic government for the last more four years . The people can't freely express and protest against the wrong policies , misgovernance and non governance.
Those protesting for seeking due rights are treated brutally without any sympathetic approach to their genuine issues. Be it unemployed youth, daily wagers, contractual, adhoc or other temporary employees seeking redressal of their grievances.
Such an authoritarian approach towards opposition and all sorts dissent in governance or those expecting justice from government, has left the people fed up and alienated from the government while BJP leadership goes on issuing rubbish statements , demonstrating that BJP & it's leaders here, are worried about their own jobs only & interested in attaining power, by all fair and foul means, least bothering about me hardships of common people especially youth.
The party reiterates immediate restoration of statehood with safeguards for land and jobs for locals besides early holding of assembly elections, Sharma added.
