Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 5: In its continuous endeavor to provide a creative platform to the youth of Jammu, Natrang is going to conduct auditions for a new play written by Aarushi Thakur Rana which would be directed by Gauri Thakur during a production oriented theatre workshop. The auditions would be conducted on 7th August, 2022 at 2 pm at Natrang’s Studio at Municipal Building Tange Wali Gali Jammu. This was revealed by the Vice President of Natrang Sh. Suresh Kumar in a press statement issued here today, in which he informed that the production will be organised in collaboration with Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust. He also expressed that because of the corona crisis, all the training/practice opportunities were stalled which caused an adverse effect on the performing arts and significant endeavours like these auditions would definitely play an important role in the rejuvenation of intellectual activities in the region. While inviting young theatre enthusiasts of Jammu to avail this golden opportunity, he further said that interested candidates may contact the coordinator on 8082170710.
It is pertinent to mention that, Natrang has always come up with new initiatives to provide a total professional training environment in Jammu aimed at giving a new life to the cultural movement of the city. Natrang always equipped every participant with a lot of confidence and sharpens the communication skills in addition to the over-all personality development. This has been the experience that people related to theatre and arts excel in every sphere of life.
