JAMMU, Aug 8: GLDM GDC Hiranagar signed an MoU with Dist. Youth Services & Sports, Kathua. Vikram Jamwal (Physical Director) Govt. GLDM GDC Hiranagar & Sunil Kumar, Dist. Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kathua signed MoU in presence of Dr. Bharat Bhushan HOD Music of the College & Dhanraj Singh PET, Weight lifting coach (YSS).
The terms, conditions and objectives of the MoU were read out by Vikram Jamwal. The emphasis is to encourage and promote exchange of programmes, experiences, skills, techniques, information and knowledge in the field of Sports and physical education. This would also encourage the development of sports in the College as well as Schools of tehsil Hiranagar.
Both the institutions after signing the MoU shall work together in organising talent hunt programmes at school, panchayat, block, tehsil and college level. Further Coaching programmes will also be organised to improve the performance of the players so that they can compete at state and national level.
The entire MoU was planned and executed under the able guidance of Dr.Pragya Khanna, Principal of the College. The programme ended with the presentation of formal vote of thanks by Dr. Bharat Bhushan. |
