| Rope Skipping Championship organized by Rope Skipping Association of J&K | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 9: Two days 12th District Jammu Rope Skipping championship was held with the event being held by Rope Skipping Association of Jammu & Kashmir. The slogan of the championship is ‘My Youth, My Pride’.
On the first day of the championship around 180 students from 25 schools/clubs of Jammu district participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. The Championship provided a perfect platform to the participants to showcase their performance and hone their skills. The main aim of the tournament was to provide all round fitness and extra ordinary skills in the students.
Maria Swati-Principal, Carmel Convent School, Jammu declared the event open and in closing ceremony of the day- Randhir Singh Sodhi-SSP J&K Police was the chief guest, Neetu Bali CEO-Sunder Enterprises, Kamal Singh-International Gymnast, Shweta Thakur Sharma-state awardee/member- J&K Sports Council, Bhanu Partap Singh-International Player were special guests. |
