UDHAMPUR, Aug 9: Under the Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated across the country on the 75th anniversary of independence, Bharat Scouts and Guides, District Udhampur made people aware by taking out an awareness rally under the leadership of District Secretary Veena Sharma, under the Har Ghar tricolor campaign to inculcate the feeling of patriotism and to create a deep connection and respect towards the tricolor.
The rally was flagged off by the chief guest councilor Kush Pachyala. He said that in order to inculcate the feeling of patriotism among the general public and to inculcate in them a sense of respect for the pride of the country, a campaign to install tricolor flag at every house from August 13 to 15 is being carried out. This campaign is being run all over India. All the people should join this campaign and buy the tricolor flag with their hard earned money and put it at their home from August 13 to 15. Putting a tricolor flag in our house is a symbol of pride and honor. On this occasion, District Secretary Veena Sharma said that it is a matter of great pleasure that the students are participating with great enthusiasm in the programs being organized under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. On this occasion, programs like essay writing, poetry recitation, slogan writing competition, tricolor yatra etc. will be organized in each unit under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi. Scout Masters Amardev Singh, Rakesh Sharma, Avinash Thappa, Khem Raj Sharma, Rohit Singh and Guide Captain Neha Sharma and a large number of Scouts Guides participated in the rally.
