Early Times Report

NAGROTA, Aug 12: Renewing his appeal of hoisting the tricolour on every rooftop as part of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Senior BJP leader Mr Devender Singh Rana today said the drive across the country will reinvigorate the spirit of patriotism among the people, who are celebrating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
“Tiranga is our pride, our lifeline”, Mr Devender Rana said while joining the enthusiastic rally, bubbling with the fervor of patriotism, in the Dansal area of Nagrota Assembly Constituency.
Mr Rana said, duty has cast upon every Indian to contribute towards the nation in terms of strengthening unity and amity, working for environmental protection and social welfare, supporting its holistic development and supplementing the efforts of making the nation the world leader. The die has been cast to make India as the Vishwaguru due to the visionary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, hoping that the people will be the willing partners in scripting this growth story.
The senior BJP leader lauded the fervor and enthusiasm among the people across Jammu and Kashmir in taking Tiranga to every home, saying this will indeed be a great tribute to innumerable freedom fighters, who enabled every Indian, irrespective of caste, creed, colour and religion to breathe in free environs by breaking the shackles from the Britishers. He said the indebted nation is grateful to those who gave their all, including lives for the freedom of India, and the posterity must know much about such supreme sacrifices.
Mr Devender Rana appealed to the people of the Nagrota Assembly Constituency in general and the Dansal area in particular to make the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign a success, like elsewhere across the country. All of us have to move forward with the ‘Nation First’ mantra and this calls for selfless service for the welfare of fellow Indians in whatever way we can, he said, hoping that the campaign will be celebrated as a national festival.
He congratulated the people, especially the youth, in coming forward in a big way to participate in the campaign and making it a grand success. He noted with a sense of pride that Har Ghar Tiranga has become a mass movement.
Prominent among those who participated in the rally included District President Jammu Rural Rajinder Singh Chib, Mandal President Shamsher Singh, Sarpanches Anil Sharma, Kuldeep Kumar, Mansa Ram, Capt. Pyare Lal, Ajay Barsala, besides Tarsem Singh, Ashok Singh, Sucha Singh, Master Ranjit Singh, Ajeet Thappa, Pritam Singh, Kishori Lal, Mohal Lal Verma, Angrez Singh, Balram Singh, Mohd Sadiq, Abdul Hussain, Kuldeep Kumar Sukha, Bashir Ahmed, Sunil Thappa, Rajinder Kumar, Darshan Lal, Yog Raj, Ashwani Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Munshi Ram, Mohd Mushtaq, Liaqat Ali, Soni Sharma and others.
