Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav; Wrestling Mats Distributed Among Students under Civic Action Programme 2021-22: Reasi Police

REASI, Aug 17: Continuing a series of events while Celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsov and carry forwarding the agenda of District Police Reasi today District Police Reasi distributed wrestling mats among students of Reasi under Civic Action Programme 2021-22.
In an impressive function organized today at Indoor Sports Stadium Reasi besides officers prominent citizens, hundreds of students participated and graced the occasion.
SSP Reasi Sh Amit Gupta JKPS being chief guest of the occasion praised the talent of youth of District Reasi and dedicated the mats for youth of Reasi by cutting the ribbon.
On this occasion a Girls and Boys Wrestling Competition was organized at indoor stadium Reasi besides these a fencing competition was also organized which was enjoyed by the spectators.
To boost the morale of the youth cash prize was distributed among the players.
Speaking on the occasions Sh Amit Gupta conveyed that Civic Action Programme of J&K Police is an initiative to provide platform and opportunities to the students and to hunt their talents and many students performed at state and national level under this initiative of J&K Police.
Ssp further conveyed that while Celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Reasi Police organized different activities and today under this banner these wrestling mats got distributed to youth of Reasi, he appealed that youth should choose sports over drug abuse which is must for their future and for the nation.
