Serpent next door: Pakistan hand established in Rajouri Fidayeen attack!
Dossier being prepared

Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 17: The investigation agencies have established the hand of Pakistan in the recent suicide attack on the Indian Army camp in Rajauri. A detailed “dossier” is being prepared about the how the attack took place and the forces behind it.
A senior official told the Early Times on the condition of anonymity that they have got access to “clinching evidence” that the terrorist duo, who were shot dead in the attack, were foreigners trained under “Daur e Khaas” who had sneaked into the Indian Territory with the sole aim of attacking the Army camp.
The intelligence agencies have got evidence that the terrorist duo had infiltrated into the Indian territory barely hours ahead of the gunfight and that taking shelter of the darkness they managed to subsequently reach the Army camp.
Sources said the evidence collected has revealed that the terrorists were in touch with their handlers across the border who wanted them to storm the Army camp “without wasting any time” and to cause “maximum possible damage at the camp.”
“One thing is clear that terrorists were aware of the installations inside the camp and had come with the intention to take shelter at advantageous locations only to lengthen the fight but the alert jawans foiled all such nefarious designs,” the sources said.
Sources said the evidence suggests that the terrorists wanted to target the local ammunition depot apart from the apartments of officials at the camp.
On August 11, two terrorists and three soldiers were killed in a gunfight when the suicide group attacked an Army camp in the frontier district in the wee hours.
The terrorists had tried to cross the fence of Army camp at Pargal. The Sentry challenged and exchange of fire had taken place.
"Two terrorists trying to sneak into a post in the dark at Pargal in Rajouri were detected. They were engaged by alert troops," an Army official had said.
It was seen as a major attack on the Army installation in Jammu in the recent past.
