'Support NC wholeheartedly to end misrule'

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 19: Secretary, Central Zone JKNC and District Coordinator (Jammu Urban), Dr. Vikas Sharma today called upon by several delegations of students and youth from across J&K and apprised him about the hardships and discrimination being faced by them due to misgovernance at the end of incumbent administration.
Dr. Vikas Sharma was told that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir was frustrated under the LG regime due to corruption and irregularities in the selections for govt jobs owing to which they were suffering badly. In February, the govt cancelled all the job advertisements older than October 2019 and gave a jolt to unemployed youth; and now SI selection list is cancelled and the fate of JE and FAA qualified aspirants also hangs in balance, they said.
Dr. Sharma blamed the BJP led NDA govt at Centre for making lives of J&K people miserable at all fronts by snatching statehood of Jammu & Kashmir. He demanded that full statehood must be restored before the conduct of Assembly Polls. He maintained that job opportunities have shrinked for local youth after the introduction of Domicile Act in J&K.
"J&K has suffered a lot since the abrogation of state status as in the absence of popular govt people are feeling suffocated due to their continuous neglect on all fronts," Dr Sharma added. Now, they want to get rid of bureaucratic rule and waiting for the popularly elected government," he further said. He maintained that bureaucratic rule is no substitute for the popularly elected government.
Dr. Sharma also launched a scathing attack on Centre govt for likely addition of 25 lakh non-local voters in J&K to dilute the vote percentage of regional parties and push its own victory chances in Assembly polls. He maintained that people will not let this happen and expose the hidden agenda of BJP.
He asked the youth to strengthen the hands of NC leadership for giving a befitting reply to policies of BJP govt in the forthcoming Assembly elections. He maintained that only NC can ameliorate the suffering of J&K people.
