JKMEF holds meeting

JAMMU, Aug 20: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation (JKMEF), Jammu, held a meeting in the Office of Federation, DHS Complex, Jammu under the President ship of Sushil Sudan. In the meeting the leaders of JKMEF Jammu expressed their solidarity with the decease family in this hour of grief and prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul. State President JKMEF, Jammu Sushil Sudan has demanded special compensation cum financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the family of deceased NHM employee Pawan Kumar from District Kathua. He said that late Pawan Kumar, age 42 yrs (ISM Pharmacist) got martyred after sacrificing his precious life in the line of duty towards nation after he got electrocuted while hoisting National Flag in Hospital Building to celebrate a Independence Day on 15th August 2022. He said that Pawan Kumar was working under NHM posted at PHC Haria Chak in distt Kathua was the only earning hand in his family Govt should immediately intervene into the matter by granting compensation to his family on the analogy of those who scarified their lives towards nation so that the sacrifice given by NHM employee should not go waste. The JKMEF, Jammu urged upon the LG Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary A.K Mehta, administrative secretary Bhupinder Kumar, MD NHM and Director ISM S. Mohan Singh to immediately release special compensation to the deceased family, treating a case in interest of nation. Other who attend the meeting are Vinod Kumar Sharma Sec General, S Parfulat Singh, Kamal Jit Sawhney, Mohd Nadeem, S. Jaswinder Singh, Neelam Kumari, Suraya Bano, Sapna Gupta, Anita Bhagat, Pawan Singh Jamwal, Bharat Bhushan Bhagat, Mohd Saleem. Ch Aslam, Gurmeet Kour, Shafkat Hussain, Madan Sharma, Darminder Singh.
