| 2 grenades recovered in Gool blast case | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Sept 2: Two grenades were recovered from Jabbar forests of Gool area in the Ind (Gool) blast case on the disclosure of main conspirator of the case namely Shoket Ali Laiwal S/O Latief Laiwal R/O Thakrakot Reasi. The grenades were concealed in the Jabbar forests of Gool area with the intention of being used on security forces in near future. Shoket Ali Laiwal was arrested a few days back in Case FIR No. 69/2022 u/s 307/120-B/121 IPC, 16/17/18/18B/19/20/38/39 UAPA, 4/5 Explosive Act of PS Gool and was subjected to sustained questioning during which he confessed on being part of the conspiracy behind lobbying of explosive on security forces and disclosed that he had hidden two more live grenades in the Jabbar forest of Gool area. Immediately, a special team was rushed to the spot alongwith militant Shoket Ali laiwal for disclosing the exact location and the two live grenades were recovered from the spot in the presence of *SSP Ramban Ms Mohita Sharma IPS*, *SDPO Gool Sh Nihar Ranjan* , *Naib Tehsildar Gool Sh Nazir* and other officers of police station Gool.
On 2 August 2022, at around 0452 hrs some unidentified person(s) hurled an explosive at Police Post Ind under the jurisdiction of Police Station Gool. On this, a Case FIR No 69/2022 was registered in Police Station Gool and investigation was taken up. |
