The Advisor made these remarks while inaugurating the two-day 3rd Annual 'CUTICON 2022' under the theme 'Let your skin talk' at SKICC, here.
Addressing the large gathering of Medical professionals and researchers, Advisor Bhatnagar said that this conference holds significance and special status this year, as it has been organized after a breach of few years, owing to the COVID -19 pandemic. He highlighted that it was due to tireless efforts of frontline workers and public servants, and volunteer organizations with the constant support of the government that we are standing here today post pandemic, returning back to our previous academic and other activities.
The Advisor further said that Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy along with its sub branches are growing at a rapid pace in the past few decades and the demands for its services and research associated with it are also amplifying. He added that the field of Dermatology along with other branches of medicine have a direct impact on human lives and the service of humanity and so it is imperative that the services in this field be delivered within the bounds of scientific and ethical considerations.
Advisor Bhatnagar complimented the organisers for taking a step forward in bringing forth an event of this magnitude and hoped that the enthusiastic participation of Dermatologists from all over the country in this conference will significantly contribute to culmination of novel ideas, newer modalities of treatment, that can further aid in better patient management and care across Jammu and Kashmir.
On the occasion, Advisor Bhatnagar also felicitated senior dermatologists for their contribution to this field of medical science.
Pertinently, the CUTICON 2022 is being organised by the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists, J&K Branch (IADVL-JK) and large number of Dermatologists and medical researchers are participating the conference.
