TNA interacts with VC JDA

JAMMU, Sept 3: A delegation led by Rahul Sahai Chairman Transport Nagar Association (TNA) interacted with Pankaj Magotra VC JDA and higher officials of JDA regarding problems faced by business establishments of Transport Nagar at Vikas Bhawan Jammu.
Issues discussed by Rahul Sahai Chairman Transport Nagar Association were Roads black topping, Lighting (High Mass lights), Repair of Dividers, Maintenance and Plantation, Encroachment, Conversion of lease hold to free hold rights, lease deed issues, building bye laws at par with JMC, Double fee issues, Transfer policy, JDA departmental processing issues, Parking concerns at Transport Nagar and Time bound transfer of property, Sanitation & Active Drainage, Lifting old Garbage, New Nallahs to be made (UEED), Cleaning and repair of Nallah's, Encroachments concerns, Making of Shulabh Shauchalya's, Lighting, building bye laws at par with JMC. Sahai stressed on quality of work and urged VC JDA that UEED works should be done simultaneously.
Pankaj Magotra VC JDA while interacting with Rahul Sahai Chairman and Executive members of Transport Nagar Association showed them a power point presentation regarding developmental works to be conducted in near future out of 32 crores sanction by UT Govt for Transport Nagar . He said over hauling of Transport Nagar
Is on cards and JDA has floated tenders to commence works regarding 32 crores sanctioned by UT Govt in which Roads, dividers, lighting, drains, beautification, Pavet tiles where ever required would be made anti encroachment drives will be conducted simultaneously.
VC JDA assured Transport Nagar Association that all the problems would be addressed in a proper way and works of JDA and UEED would be done simultaneously so that money spent should not be wasted. VC JDA assured Transport Nagar Association {TNA} that in 15 days lot of online services would be introduced by JDA for smooth and timely working in JDA department, which will ease people at large, he assured to look into the matter of parking required by trucks in Transport Nagar. He said all the yards in Transport Nagar would be developed properly and said that people should cooperate in paying user charges and not to support encroachments. Pankaj Magotra directed concerned officers to conduct Anti encroachment drive at the earliest.
Other Executive members present in meeting from Transport Nagar Association were Amarjeet Kukreja, Vijay Saraf, Davinder Kakkar, Ashwani Pandoh, Harpinder Anand, Rakesh Gupta, Shiv Bamba, Raju Puri, Raju Chawla, Naresh Gupta, Satish Gupta.
