JKEEGA appeals Principal Secretary PDD to fill vacancies at all levels

Jammu, Sept 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduates Association [JKEEGA] today held a meeting under the chairmanship of Sachin Tickoo, president and attended among others by Executive Council members Ashok Kumar Dubey , Rajeshwar Jamwal, (Sr. Vice President’s) , Sunil Gupta, Jahangir Ahmed, Gulshan Bhagat, (Vice president’s) , Yash Paul, Vishal Singh Chib ( Provincial Secretaries), Ankush Sharma , Rohit Gupta, (Organizing Secretaries), Ankush Gupta, Vijay Sharma, (Secretaries Media & Grievances) ,Parshottam Lal Sharma and Vipul Sharma-(Treasurers) .
While appreciating the fulfilling of commitment made by Principal Secretary in the meeting held with JKEEGA on 6.8.2022 in Raj Bhawan Jammu and expediting the clearance of the AE to AEE promotion file which had been awaiting approval from competent authorities since quite some time, the Executive council urged the principal secretary to expedite the promotion proposals at all levels of AE,XEN,SE,CE,ED,MD so that the eligible officers are not deprived of promotion opportunity despite availability of vacancies as many of them are retiring on superannuation .There needs to be some impetus to be infused so that lengthy process of involving GAD for mere Own pay and Grade placements causing lot of delay as has been in recent past is overcome and eligible officers are not made to suffer.
Further JKEEGA also appealed Principal Secretary to convene the meeting of empowered committee on regularization so that regularization process of 1600 engineers is completed as per the mandate of SAC decision dated 23.10.2019 and further delay is avoided.
The meeting also expressed hope that the Gazetted service recruitment rules of Power Development Department shall be notified at an earliest as the minutes of the meeting of the committee constituted for the said purpose vide Govt order no 65 of PDD of 2022 Dated- 27/05/2022have also been received by the administrative department and accordingly the positions of Executive Director are also filled urgently.
The members expressed hope that the administration shall resolve all the burning issues of the Graduate Engineering fraternity at an earliest so that a renewed zeal is infused among the fraternity.
