DALLI (BANI), Sept 11: In Doula's Ander-I there is a small village named Dalli in Bani constituency of district Kathua where carrying further the religious tradition of conducting a pilgrimage every year to the famous Shiv Ji Ka Dhera, the religious event was conducted with great devotion and sanctity this year. It is pertinent to mention here that this sacred religious obligation of spiritual pursuit commences on 1st Osh followed by a Jagaran on 8th Osh and finally the Yatra beginning on 9th Osh passing via of Shup Shiva Temple moves on to Lord Shiva’s Dhera near Daula Chandi Mata Temple which is the final destination of the Yatra. The pilgrims this year during their stay at this Lord Shiva’s pilgrimage in the mountainous region paid their obeisance to the Lord and most of them experienced the spiritual bliss while engrossed in an ecstatic frenzy. According to the legend narrated by the elders living in the area, those people who are unable go to the Kailash Yatra Manimahesh can get bestowed with religious merits by participating in this pilgrimage and having the Darshan of the Supreme Shiva at Dhera Shiv Daula Dalli with utmost sanctity and devotion. The attraction of the religious sojourn was the Jagaran which was conducted by Master Prakash from Jani and his party who mesmerized the devotees with Dalli Maa Jagran. The members of Shiv Samiti Dali Dhera Daula along with young volunteers organized a Bhandara on the occasion serving the pilgrims sumptuous food. The most elderly disciple of Dali Shiva Temple Sardarru Shah, Kunan Shah, Chhatu Shah, Lakho Shah, Kantho Shah, Bonku Shah, Aj disciple Pujari Krishna Chand and Kamal Singh were present on the occasion.
