JKTJAC hold series of meeting in district Udhampur, raises burning Issues of the Teachers

Jammu, Sept 11: Jammu Kashmir Teachers'Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) held series of meetings in the zones of District Udhampur.
A meeting of zone Udhampur held here under the chairmanship of Zonal President Vipen Raina where in UT President Vinod Sharma, District President Lekh Raj Parihar, UT Chief Advisor Sham Sharma, UT Chief and Press and Media Secretary Sukesh khajuria were the special invitees.
At Ramnagar a meeting of zones of Ramnagar and Kulwanta held under the chairmanship of Zonal presidents Maan Chand Khajuria and Sham Singh which was attended by executive members of the JKTJAC.
Similar meeting of zone Jib held under the chairmanship District Vice President Pritam Goswami and attended by executive members of the body.
While speaking on the occasion Mr Vinod Sharma appealed the finance department of education to release the elementary salary grants to meet out the deficit for the smooth release of salary of August 2022 as pious festive season of Navratras is approaching .
He also raised the other burning issues of the teachers and urged the Principal Secretary School Education to resolve them. The issues raised included:
Comprehensive transfer in favour of teachers appointed under ReT scheme who have been working in the same schools since 2000 , inclusion of 5 years ReT period for seniority benefits, Revocation of Unjustified Repatriation Order Of ReTs, DPC of teachers as same hasn't been done since 2014, conversion of headteachers posts to non plan posts of masters for the smooth release of their salaries, raising of grade pay Teachers at par with their counterparts in other UTs and provision of old pension scheme in favour of employees appointed under NPS scheme.
Lekh Raj Parihar while speaking on the occasion appealed Director School Education Jammu to regularise the ReTs who have completed 5 years ReT period and their files lying in the directorate. He also raised the issue of release of MDM dues of the teachers of district Udhampur which they are managing from their own pockets.
