BJP developing J&K at par with any other state in country: Raman Suri
"Disintegrated PAGD living in illusion"
9/14/2022 11:30:00 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 14: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive member Raman Suri today said that the People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) stands disintegrated with several parties parting ways from it yet the remaining PAGD is trying to mislead people by making false, frivolous, imaginary and impractical statements. The situation today has reached a stage where the right hand (NC) doesn't know what the left hand (PDP) is doing.
Raman Suri said, while NC has reconciled with the changed scenario and claims to be contesting elections on all 90 seats, PDP is still selling dreams of restoring Article 370. The party, that has lost its mass base, is even going an extra mile in saying that self-rule, a rejected and impractical thought, can solve Kashmir issue that doesn't even exist now. He said, people also know the present status and are not going to buy these irrelevant thoughts or illusions.
The BJP leader said, Congress too is dumped and its leaders like Ghulam Nabi Azad who have parted ways have a clear idea of the situation. This is the reason he is telling people truth that Article 370 is gone forever. Those not telling people the truth and keeping them in dark are playing with their sentiments merely to stay relevant in politics with their false narratives, he said, adding that there existed no Kashmir issue and even if it was, the same stands resolved with the abrogation of the controversial Article 370, that had barred development and people's growth in many ways.
Raman Suri said, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is doing whatever is best for the welfare of people by building massive infrastructure, connecting villages, making cities and villages smart, bringing in transparency in the system of governance and recruitment, creating jobs for youth, eliminating militancy permanently and taking massive reform measures the bring the Union Territory at par with any other state or UT in the country.
He said, political outfits like PDP and NC are on the verge of collision for the simple reason that both have now agreed that PAGD was for restoration of Article 370, which will never happen, while elections will be fought individually. Remaining political outfits have parted ways and reconciled to the prevailing situation. Raman Suri said that BJP, after sensing the pulse, acted in larger interest of the people whose fruits they are reaping now. Earlier young girls and boys were losing their lives in conflicts initiated at the instigations by these parties but now all of this has ended.
He said, peace had dawned on Kashmir, youth is looking for their future in jobs and self-financing schemes, tourists are flocking, development is a buzz word, new age leaders of municipalities and panchayats under new laws are doing their best to bring in reforms in the lives of people and most importantly, people have realised that political outfits like NC and PDP acted like a wall between people and their development by not letting central laws getting implemented here or blocking investments by big business houses and industries in Jammu and Kashmir.
