JAMMU, Sept 14: To mark the centenary celebrations of Late Dr. Uttam Chand Shastri, Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan Basohli, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology, Jammu, Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranveer Campus, Jammu and Choodamani Sanskrit Sansthan Basohli, under the patronage of Shri Kailakh Astrology and Vedic Sansthan Trust, Jammu, on behalf of Mahavir Seva Sadan and Abha Bagrodia Charitable Trust, Kolkata, is holding free artificial limbs and calipers distribution camp at Baba Jitto Bhawan, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology, Jammu on 16 September 2022.
In a statement issued here today, Shakti Pathak, Organizer Committee Member of the Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan, Basohli, informed that the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha along with Shankaracharya Adhokshjanand Devtirt ji Maharaj will distribute free artificial limbs and calipers among the beneficiaries.
"The free artificial limbs and calipers distribution camp will start on 11:00 AM on 16th September, 2022 at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology, Jammu," he added.
On the occasion, former minister Sham Lal Sharma complemented the organizers for organizing this camp for the differently abled and patients having eye issues. He said that this message should be conveyed to every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir so that maximum number of needy persons can be helped.
During the programme several prominent persons and dignitaries like Vice Chancellor SKUAST Jammu, Prof. J P Sharma, Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sanathan Trust President Mahant Rohit Shastri,Ankush Sharma, Chetan Wanchoo, Dr Sanjay Sharma, Deepak Gupta-President, Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market, Jammu, Prof. Sharad Chander Sharma, Parbodh Sharma, and Dr Anil will mark their presence on 16th September.
